Hemraj Goyal Foundation Director wins Best Community Champion award at Best Business Women Awards
The Hemraj Goyal Foundations Director, Anita Goyal has been named Community Champion at the Best Business Women Awards.
The glittering awards ceremony, held at Turin Bury Farm Hotel in Welwyn, recognises and rewards business women and community champions who successfully run their businesses and social enterprises alongside often busy family commitments.
The Best Community Champion award acknowledges those women who have made a significant difference to projects and charities within the community.
Through the Hemraj Goyal Foundation, Anita has worked with a number of charitable causes and foundations to make a difference to vulnerable women and children in the UK and abroad.
Amongst others, Anita has worked with the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women, an organisation that empowers women entrepreneurs in developing countries, and Lily Against Human Trafficking, who work against human trafficking of young girls and women through prevention, rescue and rehabilitation.
Anita Goyal said: “I am delighted to have won Best Community Champion at the Best Business Women Awards.
“Alongside my colleagues at the Hemraj Goyal Foundation, I am passionate about women and children’s rights, promoting the importance of education and furthering equality to disadvantaged areas of society.
“It is an honour to be recognised for my work and I want to thank the Best Business Women Awards team and Debbie Gilbert for choosing me as the winner!”
